In this world there are lots of people who think that after they die they shall transform to another being or go to another place than this earth, mostly being called heaven.
Even by those who call themselves Christian are lots of people who think that straight ahead after their death they will go to join their loved ones in heaven. They forget that the Bible clearly tells us that for all living beings it will be the same by the end of life.
“19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; and man hath no preeminence above the beasts: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.” (Ec 3:19-20 ASV)
“ For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” (Ec 9:5 ASV)
“ Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, whither thou goest.” (Ec 9:10 ASV)
As such when we die, it shall be like being in a very deep sleep, or like a situation before we came unto this world. We being nothing any more, and often very quickly forgotten by the rest of the world.
But we shall not be forgotten by the Highest Being. He has a sacred Book where all the names are written in, of those who shall be allowed to receive a better life than the one they previously had on earth. That Most High Divine Being is worthy to be praised and many forget that He is the Only One True God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Divine Creator, Maker and Establisher of everything, Who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. In the action of that man from Nazareth, doing the Will of God, we have hope in the salvation by his ransom offering that God has accepted. All those, who are willing to believe in that “son of God” and in his heavenly Father, may look forward to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for them. It is because of their faith and by the Grace of God, with the salvation by the ransom offering by Christ Jesus that those with faith in God and His son are kept by the Power of God for salvation ready to be revealed in the last times, when Jesus shall come back to judge the living and the dead.
“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1Pe 1:3-5 ASV)
“ For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;” (Joh 5:22 ASV)
“ I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:” (2Ti 4:1 ASV)
“ For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.” (Mt 7:14 ASV)
Those few that find the way were already notated from the beginning of times in the Book which was with God. Those who lived after Jesus came to this world, and rejected him as the Saviour at the time they died or at the time of Christ’s Second Coming at the end of the Great Tribulation (the beginning of the Millennial reign) shall not be found in that precious book of life. To be able to be counted under the “accepted ones” the person has to believe in Only One True God and not in a Three-headed or Triune God or other multiple god or gods. The person to be saved has to believe in the God of Israel, Who is One.
Only those believing in God shall be separated in the end, when there shall be a great nation.
“ And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem;” (Isa 4:3 ASV)
“ And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” (Da 12:1 ASV)
Yes, only those who shall be written in that Book of life shall be delivered. The apostle Paul tells us that God revering believers’ names are in the Book of Life.
“ Yea, I beseech thee also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names are in the book of life.” (Php 4:3 ASV)
“ He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” (Re 3:5 ASV)
There is no place in the Restored Paradise for those who worship a false god or another god than the Only One True God. Also not for those who worship the Antichrist or take Christ as their god, instead of accepting that Jesus is the son of God and the authorised one from God. It is a matter of choosing the right thing and knowing that Jesus is the way to God to be blessed and holy to have part in that coming resurrection, having the second death no power, because being known by Christ as a follower of him and not of the world.
“ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (Joh 14:6 ASV)
“ I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me,” (Joh 10:14 ASV)
“ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go up unto thy house.” (Mt 9:6 ASV)
“ But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.” (Mt 25:12 ASV)
“ And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.” (Re 13:8 ASV)
The apostle John prophesies that all who died while in disbelief in God will not have their names written in the Book of Life. At the end times, people shall come to see Jesus sitting on a great white throne. And for those who are against God and who are keeping their disbelief, there shall be found no place for them [Satans or adversaries of God, the Antichrist, false prophets and their followers]. The Book of Life shall be opened at that time, and the dead will be judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The ones who had died earlier and were brought up from their graves (Luke 16:19-31) to be judged and to experience the second death shall be delivered all to be judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hādēs shall be cast into the final grave, which is the second death [lake of fire].
“11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. 15 And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.” (Re 20:11-15 ASV)
Let us make sure that we shall belong to those written in the Book of life and not getting the second death but receiving a non-ending life in God’s Kingdom.
