Creation purpose and warranty

Creation purpose and warranty

The God of the Bible created the earth as a place for man, because He had a plan for that person. The prophet Isaiah says about that Supreme Being Who created the heavens that  He is God – who formed the earth, made it, established it. But he also tells us that was not done to have chaos, welter or to have the place empty. The prophet and biblical writer let us know God created the earth not in vain but to be inhabited.

Isa 45:18 The Scriptures 1998+  (18)  For thus said יהוה {Jehovah}, Creator of the heavens, He is Elohim, Former of earth and its Maker, He established it, He did not create it to be empty, He formed it to be inhabited: “I am יהוה {Jehovah}, and there is none else.

In older Dutch Bibles can be found the word ‘baaierd” which could be translated in English as chaos or welter and which is the same word used in Genesis 1 for the Hebrew word for ‘chaos‘ were we first encounter it as “without form and void.” The reasoning is that this stage of formless and void was not God’s ultimate goal and that further development was not a by-product. On the contrary, God has had from the outset the intention to create the earth as a dwelling place or abode for man. And if that is so, then we may expect that man will also be profoundly important in later times. We have therefore a kind of biblical warranty! If we, for a moment, anticipate in our story we can see that the Apostle Paul brings a perfect parallel reasoning regarding redemption:

Rom 5:5-11 The Scriptures 1998+  (5)  And expectation does not disappoint, because the love of Elohim has been poured out in our hearts by the Set-apart Spirit which was given to us.  (6)  For when we were still weak, Messiah in due time died for the wicked.  (7)  For one shall hardly die for a righteous one, though possibly for a good one someone would even have the courage to die.  (8)  But Elohim proves His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Messiah died for us.  (9)  Much more then, having now been declared right by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  (10)  For if, being enemies, we were restored to favour with Elohim through the death of His Son, much more, having been restored to favour, we shall be saved by His life.  (11)  And not only this, but we also exult in Elohim through our Master יהושע  {Jeshua} Messiah, through whom we have now received the restoration to favour.

Paul’s argument is that if God has gone so far as to sacrifice his Son to atone for our sins, that we from this may be sure that He will do everything else on His part what is necessary for our salvation. What God has already done in both cases is the best guarantee that He continues to want the best for man and that He will work for it. The God of the Bible is therefore looking for people who love Him and who are committed wholeheartedly to do His will and to follow His commandments. What he seeks is a personal relationship with his creatures.

And thus …

The message of the Bible thus has a totally different dimension than the minds of men, both religious and non-religious, that we find elsewhere. The Bible tells us of a God who deliberately created the world because He has a plan for this world and for man whom He placed therein. And therefore He interferes with that world and man. But through the ages man has had trouble to accept that. And that is still true. The so-called agnostic approach, which nowadays often can be found, that God does exist, but it is impossible to know Him, is not essentially different from the modern form of the idea that the deity is far away and is nowhere to intervene. The idea is in harmony with almost all thinking except precisely that of the Bible, which it squarely contradicts. It is important to understand this distinction in case you would like to come to understand and to appreciate the Bible to its value. The reason that all other approaches to this point is so similar, I said it, that they go out of speculative human thinking. And man can do nothing but argue from his own imagination, based on his own knowledge and experience. However, this points out, that the Bible has a fundamentally different basis. What that is, we will see in the sequel.

The scientific understanding of nebulae, and of the universe itself, was in flux. It was only in 1924 that Edwin Hubble announced, first in the New York Times, that many of the objects called nebulae were actually galaxies, which existed far beyond our own Milky Way. As late as 1933, it was still a matter of speculation whether the Veil Nebula surrounded a star, and was actually the remnant of a supernova.
  • After the Fact (briankoberlein.com)
The first proposal for a “big bang” model is typically attributed to a 1931 paper by Georges Lemaître. Based on the properties of general relativity, Lemaître argued that the universe must have began as a “primeval atom.” The idea didn’t attract much attention because the “static universe” was the dominant model at the time. When Edwin Hubble demonstrated a correlation between a galaxy’s distance and its redshift, it became clear that the universe was expanding. At that point Lemaître’s idea gained attention. Still, there was opposition to the idea, mainly because it was seen as extending the evidence too far. After all, if we watch bread dough rise it is clear that the dough is expanding, but to conclude from this that bread begins as an ultra-dense “primeval flour” is ridiculous.
  • What has religion done for us?
Religion answered the questions that confused ancient people, but it has also been the leading cause of death in human history, let’s explore the good and bad things religion has done for us. Of course I am using a generalized view of all religions in human history, but all religions are very similar. Most of them have one or more deities, they have holy books, rules, regulations and answers. But unfortunately they often don’t spread peace and understanding, the main religions worshiped today tell you to kill and discriminate against those who disagree with you.

Recently I was invited to chime in on a post on the question of miracles and the Bible. • Qeustions about Evolution raised by my own ignorance.
I don’t like the way the field of evolutionary studies and anthropology has become un-critical; in as much as, it seems that once one accepts evolution the peer review process stops. And I think this has led to the quality of information given to the public, and maybe more importantly the level of “useful” research to drop.
So I guess it’s a general complaint that scientist treat us like they we are stupid, and these are some areas I’d like to see them raise public awareness.

  • Eternal Laws of Creation #8…..likes repel, opposites attract!
The subtle difference between a complete species and splittings of a species can be seen in humans and their thoughts! Each human being is a splitting and desires unions like marriage where the positive active male complements what the female lacks in coarse energy and ruggedness, and the negative passive female reciprocates with a presence better attuned to absorbing and dispensing finer radiations and pure Light Pressure! On the other hand, human thought forms are complete species and only attract similar thought forms! Hence, pure thoughts only attract or, are attracted to correspondingly pure thought forms/centers: love begets love, not hatred!
In summary, complete species stick together while part species strive for union with the opposite complement but, only within the same homogeneous species in full compliance with Creation’s Eternal Law of The Attraction of Homogeneous Species!

  • Eternal Laws of Creation #2…….Omniscience and eternal laws!
In “Eternal Laws of Creation #1”, I mentioned the popular belief that creation and everything in it (its fullness thereof) exist through the Will of a Creator (variously known as Supreme Intelligence, the Light-Cause, the Almighty, God, etc.) and supervised by the Laws of the Creator! Let us look at the ‘supervision’ and  laws a little bit more!
It does not mean that the Creator sits on a high throne with a statute book to roll out a long list of dos and don’ts nor, does He (no gender bias meant) look on to reward this or that person/entity for good behavior and punish the other for falling short! Such erroneous views arise from pictures depicted by many religions, movements and sects!
Usually, Light messengers, prophets, masters, etc. mediate or, hand down rules and observances to guide their followers in living aright!

    Eternal Laws of Creation #1
despite the discordant views, there is an overwhelming consensus on the existence of pristine, natural laws in Creation; irrespective of the space, substantiality and reality the individual/group deals with! The laws are only given different nomenclatures and concepts according to the individual/group’s realities! Therefore, call them scientific laws, cosmic laws, laws of nature, universal laws, transcendental laws, laws of Creation, the laws of God or any other designation, you are merely referring to the same laws from different perspectives!
  • Twinkle (part one)
For argument’s sake let’s imagine that a believer dies, is buried for a sufficient time for just the bones to remain and the Lord Jesus then returns. The believer is raised from the dead by having their bones re-clothed in flesh. Suppose that believer had osteoporosis at the time of death. Does this now mean that the resurrected believer has an eternity ahead of her with deformity? Taking this further, will we be cured of the affliction that led to our death? Will those who died in a car accident still carry the wounds of death? Jesus after all, still had the scars of crucifixion.
